She is a deep thinker, author, 40+ years of practical real-life insights, global experience in human nature, organisational behaviour & development.
Manuela holds an EMBA/Executive Masters in Business Administration from HULT Executive Education in Massachusetts / USA, a Masters as well as accreditation in Executive Coaching [EMCC equivalent: senior pactitioner] from Ashridge Executive Education, Berkhamsted / UK, a teaching certificate from the University of Cambridge in Cambridge / UK, a life- and health consultant certificate of BVLGB Switzerland. Furthermore she holds a certificate of ‘Improving your business through a culture of health’ from Harvard University, Boston MA / USA as well as a certificate in Traumatic Stress Studies of The Trauma Research Foundation in Boston MA / USA.
In addition to coaching in the field since 2006, Manuela mentored Ashridge Masters in Executive Coaching students through their thorough Masters programme, inspires and guided ‘her students’ through year one and two of the AMEC as well as the intensive accreditation process to become an accredited Ashridge Executive Coach between 2019-2025 as well as a member of the NHS Leadership Academy Hub [ Supervision, Mentirong & Coaching ] in the UK since 2025. Furthermore, she was a mentor in the Global Compassionate Communications Network, based in New York between 2022-2025.
Manuela is also the author of numerous articles, case studies like the most recent one ‘net zero naturally’, ‘sustainable business models’, ‘due diligence’ as well as the PCOCI-onboarding-Model, that guides towards a best practice in onboarding and human-to-human-development in organisations. We would like to take the opportunity here to thank our known and unknown ancestors for their essential participation in parenting, travelling, exploring, discovering, learning, logopedics, teaching, connecting, hunting, gathering, bee-keeping, husbandry, farming, surviving WWI & WWII, overcoming struggles, digesting & healing [generational-] trauma, repairing relationships, wood-working, logging, cooking, baking, gardening, story-telling, caring, healing, nursing, reading, writing, communicating, adapting, creating
as well as
all our mentors [ human, non-human - but sensing nevertheless: the four legged, two legged, winged ones, swimmers, crawlers, plants, rock peoples and no-sees ],

close & true friends, teachers and also brief encounters that showed us the way and encouraged us following our path; our hearts.
We humbly acknowledge that our business operates on the traditional, ancestral homelands of the peoples of the Glarnerland. That fought on the 9th of April 1388 for their freedom and healthy governance. We recognize and honour their ongoing connection to this land, water, and community. We are grateful to do business on this beautiful territory and will strive to be good guests in the Glarnerland and honour their history, teachings, and culture.

van der Glas & van der Glas is a Dutch-Swiss family-owned philantrophic organisation founded in 2002 and organically growing in the 1st generation. We are dedicated to continue understanding. We do this through offering enhancing communication in English [ Your boutique English school! ]. Educate 21st century leaders holistically [Boutique Executive Education]. Craft life-affirming proposals for a healthy governance [Healthy Governance, Risk & Stewardship Advisory ]. Actively nursing & planting trees to protect our biosphere [ The Mother Tree Nursery ] and ensure continuity for our present as well as the next 7 generations. We offer stability and continuity in a constantly changing world.

History:
In 2002 we started out with ‘van der Glas & van der Glas’ - with our first pillar: Your boutique English school!
Over time ‘Boutique Executive Education’, ‘Healthy Governance, Risk & Stewardship Advisory’ came into being - and as the latest two pillars
‘The Mother Tree Nursery’ in 2022 and ‘The two birds café’ to be opened in 2024/2025.
We follow the values of ‘The beautiful, the good and the truth’.
